TAKING OVER SELANGOR? WEAPON? WASTE!

The first salvo is FIRED!

ALAM FLORA, will cease collecting Selangor waste on

15 October!

The Selangor State Government Exco is meeting this evening to address this potential chaos.

You do not need much guessing on who is behind this.

The Federal Government, read BN, has tried all means from religion to race to win back Selangor.

The people in Selangor were not easily cowed.

They stood their ground until now.

But it will be different now, you bet.

The Federal Government have resorted to playing with DIRT!

Their crony company will let your waste pile high.

HOW NOW SELANGOR?

CAUGHT FLAT-FOOTED?

ITS WAR YAH?

AND WARS ARE ALWAYS DIRTY, NO?

  1. The Selangor government did not agree to have the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007 to be implemented in Selangor, which would have allowed the federal government to take over the management of solid waste in the state. Instead, Selangor preferred to manage its own solid waste, including terminating Alam Flora's services, and appointing its own contractors to collect garbage in Selangor.

The Act came into force on 1st September, and on 19 September, the federal government signed the concession agreements with E Idaman, Alam Flora and Southern Waste to provide garbage collection services in the Northern, Central and Southern regions respectively, except for Penang, Perak and Selangor that did not agree for the Act to be implemented in their states.

Hence, the termination of Alam Flora's garbage collection services in Selangor is due to the Selangor state government's own doing and choice, and has nothing to do with any dirty tactics employed by the federal government.
